WEARY WEDNESDAY...

Stumbling across a cute little gift shop on a recent trip to Llandaff and falling in love with half the stuff in there, I thought I'd treat myself to one of those luxuries I don't purchase very often... BATH BOMBS!

Not just any bath bombs though, handmade cupcake shaped bath bombs by Miss Patisserie, cute enough, smelly enough and glittery enough to eat... although I wouldn't recommend it!

I think Sookie approved of the delicious smell too!

After a pretty hectic week in work, and being up with a headache most of the morning, I thought a soak in the bath might do me some good, and this is where the bath bombs shall come into good use!

And of course some bubbles had to be blown...

After some well earned relaxation time before the rest of the week resumes, I'm starting to feel recharged and ready to face it head on!

LADIES WHO LUNCH...

Camera shutters and cake, what more could a blogging girl ask for?

Mum and I have set ourselves a mission...to try every afternoon tea in the vicinity of Cardiff. Today we treated ourselves to a gorgeous one at Jolyons at No.10... no not Downing Street, Cathedral Road.

After promising to teach mum some tricks of the makeup trade, see the final look at Yonks here, we headed out to an afternoon of Pink Prosecco and cake.

Jolyons, a large Victorian Residence on one of Cardiff's most salubrious avenues, has now been converted into a Boutique Hotel, kitted out with some beautiful interior design which is reminiscent of a French Country Manor.

Sitting in the large bay window, we sat taking in the view waiting for our platter of goodness to arrive...

I was also more than pleasantly surprised by the cutest little duck shaped cakes...

"CHEERS"

Plenty of chit-chat and champagne later it was time for home.
I have a feeling we shall be returning soon however...
